This week choreography becomes code. Scholars learn that every formation, every movement, every count is built on math — and that the people who create the most powerful performances in the world are equal parts artist and engineer.

Real choreography instruction from a professional dance instructor
Geometry, symmetry, and coordinate math applied to real formations
Video production woven into the performance experience
Industry professionals who work at the intersection of dance and technology
Performance confidence built in a space where every scholar belongs
Move & Make starts with a question most people never ask: what does math look like when it is moving?
The answer is a dance formation. A symmetrical stage design. A choreography map built on a coordinate grid. An 8-count that is also a multiplication problem.
Our scholars spend the week with a professional choreographer learning real movement — and discovering that everything they are creating is also geometry, spatial reasoning, and data. They are not doing dance and math separately. They are doing one thing that is both at the same time.
And at the end of the week, they perform it. In front of an audience. Because confidence is also a skill — and C3 builds it.
Scholars learn and create real movement — formations designed by them, performed by them, owned by them.
Coordinate planes, symmetry, and geometry are not abstract anymore. Scholars feel them in their bodies and see them on the stage.
Every scholar performs. Every scholar belongs on that stage. That experience stays with them long after the week is over.
Every morning scholars engage in a math block and a reading block connected to the world of dance. They map formations on coordinate grids, calculate distances between positions, classify angles in arm movements, and explore symmetry through the lens of choreography. They write, reflect, and develop the descriptive language that real choreographers and performance directors use every single day. The morning and the afternoon are not two separate things at C3 — they are one continuous experience.
