About C3 Culture Code Camp
We did not build this for the kids who already have access — we built it for the ones who do not.
C3 Culture Code Camp is a program of the Rebrand Institute of Tech Equity — a nonprofit organization built on the belief that technology education is not a privilege. It is a right. We operate out of the Douglasville Community Innovation Center, one of three RITE CICs currently active across Georgia, Texas, and Maryland. Every program we run — summer camp, break camps, afterschool, and family AI nights — is designed to close the gap between the technology economy and the communities it too often leaves out. C3 is where that work gets personal.

C3 Culture Code Camp was created by Kayla Life — an educator with over 15 years of experience across K–12 schools, higher education partnerships, community organizations, and technology training programs in multiple cities and institutions. She is a Google AI Fellow, a two-time Watson Institute Fellow, a Spelman College alumna, and the Founder and Executive Director of the Rebrand Institute of Tech Equity. Kayla has spent years building technology education programs for other organizations. C3 Culture Code Camp is the first one she built entirely for her own.

Year-round. By design.
Most tech camps run once a year. We built something different. C3 runs in the summer, during fall break, during February break, and during spring break — because the scholars we serve cannot afford to stop building just because school is back in session. Every season brings a new theme. Every theme connects to a real industry. Every industry connects to a future career. And every portfolio piece stacks on top of the last one — so that by the time a C3 scholar has been with us for a full year, they have built something in music, content creation, sports analytics, dance, food technology, beauty, and design. That is not enrichment. That is infrastructure.
